Fixed Term Contract: July - October

Hourly Rate: £12.50 (plus holiday pay, circa £14.00 per hour)

Working Hours: 10am – 4pm. 8 hours per week

Vita Student's next-level apartment design offers a variety of studios to suit our students lives with the privacy of living alone or the laughter of living together. We offer style, luxury & comfort to our residents, surrounded by premium amenities and a vibrant city life. We’re expanding our housekeeping team with the appoint of an experienced Housekeeper to deliver a luxury, home-from-home cleaning service for our residents’ studio apartments whilst ensuring our premium site & facilities are maintained to the highest standards.

Our Housekeepers

Due to the increased and changing demand during our summer months, we require specialised cleaning services in addition to our standard housekeeping duties.

• Deep Cleaning - thoroughly clean and sanitise every corner of studio apartments and communal space, addressing areas that regular cleaning often misses.
• Kitchens: Deep-clean all kitchen appliances (hobs, fridge, microwave, etc.) inside and out. Disinfect areas such as handles, knobs, and switches. Clean cabinets inside and out.
• Bathrooms: Detailed cleaning of all surfaces and fixtures, going beyond regular cleaning to eliminate dirt & grime. Deep clean toilets, showers, and sinks. Disinfect and sanitise high-touch areas such as taps, handles and switches. Clean and polish mirrors & fans.
• Floors: Scrub, vacuum, and mop all floors (including carpets, hardwood, tiles, etc.). Ensure that hard-to-reach areas like corners, edges, and beneath furniture are also cleaned.
• Walls & Skirting Boards: Dust and wipe down all walls, skirting boards, and windowsills to remove dirt, dust, and cobwebs.
• Windows: Clean interior windows, ensuring they are streak-free and spotless.
• Housekeeping – Request entry to each studio to clean private living spaces. Approach each studio politely and professionally with a warm & friendly attitude.

• Sweeping
• Vacuuming
• Anti-bacterial cleaning of surfaces
• Changin bed linens and making beds

Professional Experience

• A well-versed housekeeping professional with experience in large, multi-room residence facilities such as accommodation buildings, hotels or hospitals.
• Our operations run seamlessly with the support of a variety of technology systems and software; our Housekeepers must be technologically astute.

• Flexibility: Our facilities are open to residents 24 hours a day, 356 days a year including all bank holidays, festive & religious breaks. Where festive and religious celebrations require time off, we will always try to accommodate, however flexibility from our Customer Service Assistants is imperative to be available as required to ensure continuous service to residents.
