Financial Paraplanner to support our team of Financial Advisers. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting research, preparing financial reports, and ensuring all advice is compliant with regulatory standards. This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills, a passion for financial planning, strong literacy skills and excellent detailed writing report skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed research and analysis on financial products, investment strategies, and client portfolios.
- Prepare suitability reports and recommendation documents in line with FCA regulations.
- Support advisers in client meetings by preparing documentation and follow-up reports.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records using CRM and back-office systems.
- Perform cashflow modelling and scenario analysis to support financial planning.
- Liaise with product providers to obtain quotations, illustrations, and policy information.
- Ensure all advice and documentation complies with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Assist with the onboarding of new clients and preparation of annual review packs.
- Keep up to date with changes in financial legislation and products through CPD.
Requirements:
- Experience in a paraplanning or financial planning support role.
- Strong knowledge of pensions, investments, protection, and estate planning.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a client services or customer success environment.
- Experience in relevant field required, roughly 1+ year. However, more so looking for the right candidate.
Working Conditions:
- Office-based
- Flexible around the candidate with working hours (for example, 8-4, 9-5)
- Holidays: 5 weeks per year. Every public and bank holiday also. Off from 23rd December to first working day in January for Christmas
- No HR department - Group income protection
Salary: 30-40k mark
