Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and modify software for embedded systems to enhance performance and efficiency
- Analyse user requirements and create tailored software solutions
- Debug and resolve complex technical issues
- Collaborate across teams to define specifications, requirements, and solutions
- Write clean, well-documented, and testable code
- Prioritise tasks and manage project deadlines with minimal supervision
About You:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
- You will have been working in a commercial software engineering position for a few years now, and will have spent a proportion of this time developing with C, C++, or Python.
- You will have demonstrable experience of developing embedded software.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
- Comfortable managing ambiguity and making informed decisions under changing requirements
Desirable:
- Experience with databases, APIs, and working in large matrixed organisations
- Exposure to senior leadership interaction

Duration: Circa 4 Months
Location: Belfast, Northern Ireland - due to the nature of the work, the majority of the contract will be ON SITE.
