Consulting brings together multiple teams across Transactions, Risk & Consulting, ABA, and Outsourcing to provide client-centric solutions for RSM’s current and future clients within the middle market. Our Consulting team has a major role to play in driving forward the growth of the firm with over 1,700 people delivering almost £200m revenue.

At the heart of Consulting are the six solutions we offer our clients: business transformation, deal services, finance function support, risk and governance, forensic and investigation services, and restructuring. Our solutions create an enhanced tailored approach to support our clients in achieving their strategic goals and empower our people to make an impact and develop their own unique career path.

We are looking for an Outsourcing Assistant who will provide support within our Outsourcing team in our Belfast Office. This role is 3 days in the office, 2 days working from home. We are looking for someone who is eager to develop their career in the processing of accounting records, preparing bank reconciliations and can work in a fast-paced environment, whilst demonstrating professionalism on behalf of RSM UK and its clients.

You’ll make an impact by:


  • Processing accurate accounting records including cash book, purchase ledger, sales ledger and nominal ledger
  • Preparing bank reconciliations and arranging bank payments and transfers
  • Acting as a brand ambassador for RSM UK’s clients by liaising with third parties, e.g. insurance companies
  • Meeting all set deadlines provided with the consensus to work independently.

  • Good standard of education with GCSE English and Maths or equivalent
  • Motivated to provide the highest quality service to clients
  • Self-motivated and organised. Can plan own time ensuring targets and deadlines are achieved
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and is confident in liaising with people at all levels
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Aware of client needs and expectations – acting promptly to resolve matters and remaining professional throughout.
