Role Overview


We are looking for an organised and proactive HR Generalist to join Ctrl Alt’s Operations Team. This is a hands-on, high-impact role that will be central to building and maintaining the foundations of a thriving team and workplace culture.


You will work closely with leadership and team members across departments to implement HR processes, manage the employee lifecycle, and help us scale sustainably as we grow globally.


The Role



  • Be the first point of contact for all employee HR-related queries and support

  • Manage day-to-day HR operations including onboarding, absence tracking, and employee documentation

  • Maintain and update HR systems, ensuring data is accurate and compliant

  • Support the recruitment process by coordinating interviews, preparing offers and onboarding plans

  • Assist with payroll coordination, benefits administration, and compliance reporting

  • Collaborate with leadership to drive employee engagement initiatives and support performance management cycles

  • Help foster a high-performance culture and ensure our values are embedded in everyday practices


Requirements



  • 2+ years of experience in an HR generalist or people operations role, ideally in a fast-paced startup or scale-up environment

  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices - international experience is a plus

  • Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, with a hands-on, can-do approach

  • Proven ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion

  • Strong desire to work in a developing start-up and grow with the business
