We're Hiring: Part-Time Accounts Assistant (General) | Belfast

Location: Belfast

Hours: 3 Days a Week | 08:30 – 17:00 (Days may change depending on Public Holidays)

At Profast Group, we’re a fast-paced, growing business supporting the construction, engineering, window and door hardware industry across Ireland and the UK. We’re looking for a detail-oriented, proactive General Accounts Assistant to join our finance team on a part-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity to support our shared services function, working across multiple companies and gaining broad exposure to all aspects of our finance operations.

What You’ll Do:

You'll play a key support role, working alongside our amazing Group Assistant Accountant to keep financial processes accurate and on track.

Tasks include:

• Reconciling multi-currency bank accounts and invoice discounting


• Posting journals and daily sales to invoice finance


• Maintaining and reconciling company credit cards


• Assisting with supplier queries and payment processing


• Supporting HMRC submissions and statutory returns


• Generating weekly/monthly management reports


• Performing various ad hoc finance duties

What You Bring:

• Min - 2 Years Experience as General Accounts Assistant


• Strong Excel and general IT skills


• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills


• Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy


• A team-first attitude and commercial awareness
