Key Responsibilities

• Identify and engage new clients across construction and civil engineering markets, both locally and internationally.


• Develop tailored business development strategies to drive sustainable growth and market expansion.


• Nurture and grow existing client relationships through consistent communication and value-driven engagement.


• Liaise with internal departments (technical, marketing, operations) to ensure a seamless service offering aligned with client needs.


• Create and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and commercial offers.


• Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activity, and market shifts to inform sales strategies.


• Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs set by the business.


• Assist in creating tailored quotations and documentation with support from the wider team.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience in business development, ideally within construction, engineering, or technical sectors.


• Sharp business insight with a strategic, solution-focused approach to sales.


• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.


• Confident working independently while also contributing to team success.


• Familiarity with CRM platforms and MS Office tools.


• Flexibility to travel for client meetings and project development.


• A degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field is desirable but not essential.
