Location: Belfast (Hybrid Role)
Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus

The Role
We’re currently seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee our clients response and maintenance operations in Belfast. This role is critical to the successful delivery of reactive works and in-house installations including kitchens, bathrooms, door replacements, and other responsive maintenance tasks.
You’ll lead a team of 10 operatives, ensuring operational excellence, quality standards, and smooth coordination of fast-moving field activities. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in oil & gas and social housing installations, coupled with a background in mechanical or electrical services.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of responsive and planned maintenance works, including kitchen and bathroom installations, joinery, and other repair tasks
- Oversee day-to-day field operations, ensuring timely, safe, and high-quality delivery
- Manage and support a team of 10 operatives based in Belfast
- Maintain strong communication with the team and wider business
- Ensure smooth, high-quality in-house delivery of works
- Feed into and collaborate closely with the Head of Operations
- Maintain compliance, health & safety, and client satisfaction
- Optimise schedules, resources, and supply chains to ensure efficiency
Required Skills & Experience
- Mechanical or electrical background, ideally in responsive maintenance settings
- Hands-on experience in oil & gas and social housing installations
- Solid understanding of construction processes and reactive maintenance delivery
- Knowledge of field operations and “first operation” principles
- Proven leadership experience managing teams and operational delivery
- Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills
- High standards of quality and customer service
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
