Infusion Nurse - Northern Ireland - #1687450

We are currently recruiting for a qualified nurse who has experience with infusions in Northern Ireland to specifically see patients in Causeway and Antrim.

As an infusion nurse you will visit patients either in their homes and in clinics to take blood, provide support and education and/or administer medication. The workload can vary from week to week but can be planned in advance according to the patients and nurses availability.

Job Description

• Administer medication/treatments
• Take blood
• Provide specific training to patients if needed
• Participation in regular training courses on compliance, communication, adherence, motivation, product issues and drug safety
• Continuous and complete documentation and reporting
• Reporting of Adverse Events
• Documentation and reporting
  
  

Requirements

• Registered Nurse with minimum of two years experience
• Experience in taking blood and cannulation
• Active Nursing Registration and all necessary trainings
• Pediatric experience is desirable
• Ability to manage own workload with minimal guidance
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, coworkers, managers and clients
• Ability to work autonomously
• Flexible with time and willingness to travel in Plymouth
• Drivers license and own car
• Good computer skills
