What You Will Be Doing

You will directly support our people through their Kainos career and confirm for them that working for Kainos is the best decision they have ever made, to you, that is not work – that is impact.

You will be delivering a step change in the Kainos employee experience. You will do this by guiding our people through the employee lifecycle. And this will be achieved by working in partnership with the recruitment, HR business partners, payroll and communications teams to build a seamless service for Kainos employees.

We’ll need you to bring you’re ‘A’ game, accuracy, creativity, flexibility, communications and stakeholder management experience that will help nurture a healthy workplace for Kainos employees at all levels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver brilliant employee experience. Handle day-to-day administration of general employee queries via employee ticketing system
  • Act as custodian of employee data. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of employee data and assist with preparing reports and contract documents for HR-related activities
  • Deliver awesome people support to employees and managers with their employee life cycle
  • Make sure Kainos is operationally compliant in the countries in which we operate by interpreting, implementing and managing employment policy and process.
  • Grab development opportunities by collaborating on some of our transformation projects to make sure we are always improving and representing Kainos’ best self in the workplace
  • Think creatively and work with the teams to provide valuable insight, help identify trends and accurate reporting that helps the business make informed decisions.
  • Contribute to making the People Operations team run smoothly by rolling up your sleeves and getting stuck in.

Minimum (essential Skills) Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-year experience in HR working environment with an approachable, mature, collaborative style in a customer facing environment
  • Working towards an HR qualifcations e.g CIPD
  • Ability to carry out responsibilities totally aligned to company policies, procedures and processes.
  • Effective personal time management and planning skills to deliver a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in tight timeframes/targets.
  • Ability to work efficiently, make sensible decisions under pressure and prioritise your workload in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to be trusted to handle confidential information whilst remaining impartial throughout.
  • A self-starter who can work on their own initiatives with minimal supervision
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with Office 365 Suite or equivalent

  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a multi-disciplined team
  • Ability to identify and communicate areas for improvement within the team and business
  • Experience with JIRA, Microsoft teams, SharePoint or Workday
  • Demonstrate commercial awareness and understanding of project and business dynamics.
