The Belfast office are looking for an **Principal Mechanical Engineer** with a mechanical engineering background to join their established team based in **Belfas** t
This is a great opportunity for an ambitious, client-facing Engineer to take a leading role on a variety of exciting projects across Northern Ireland. To be successful in this role, you will be a self-motivated, confident individual with team leadership skills, able to deliver high-profile projects to the highest standards
**What you’ll do!**
+ Maintain Client relationships with several key clients
+ Undertake quality checks and promote technical excellence
+ Be accountable for the team's results and adherence to agreed-upon budget
+ Act as a mentor to other staff and promote CPD activities
+ Carry out risk assessments and value engineering
+ Contribute to and provide information for fee proposals

**Qualifications**
**Ready to push the limits of what’s possible?** ** **
**Requirements:**
+ Extensive experience in mechanical building services design
+ Knowledge of a wide range of market sectors
+ The ability to provide technically sound design solutions
+ Experience of seeing conceptual designs through to completion and dealing directly with clients
+ Work experience within a similar consultancy or other relevant business
+ Relevant experience in Electrical Engineering design, including areas such as specification writing, calculations, and developing designs from first principles
