Role Overview:
The MCA Quality Assurance team is an integral part of the Central Controls MCA team that owns the enterprise-wide framework and execution of Manager Control Assessment program. The purpose of the MCA Quality Assurance team is to drive quality into the MCA program to ensure management can rely on MCA insight as the underlying data is timely, accurate and complete.

The MCA Quality Assurance and Scope of Operations role holder will lead and direct a team of professionals who will:

• Challenge the quality of MCA policy, standard, procedures and practices;
• Verify that established standards and processes are followed and consistently applied;
• Recommend actions tht will address the root cause of identified operational weaknesses in order to prevent recurrence by changing design and/ or execution;
• Identify execution errors for prioritized remediation; and,
• Support the Scope of Operations that covers the entire firm.

What you'll do:
You will work lead a team conducting Quality Assurance Reviews and supporting the Scope of Operations across all Business and Functions, with tasks including:

• Propose areas of MCA program for review based on stakeholder input and analysis of related data
• Support creation of QA Review scripts including proposed scope and sampling approach
• Support the collation of data required for a QA Review
• Follow QA Review script across all in scope Businesses and Functions, and gather evidence for areas of concern
• Identify common themes and conduct root cause analysis with recommended mitigation
• Collate reports for senior management review and action
• Develop stakeholder relationships across all lines of defence
• Manage team including hiring, evaluation, development, compensation and disciplinary process

• Excellent communication skills including the ability to explain complex issues clearly; and,
