A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A RECEPTIONIST AT THE RAMADA BY WYNDHAM HOTEL BELFAST
What you'll be doing...
- greeting and checking in guests in a polite manner, allocating rooms and handing over keys
- checking out guests, adding up their bills and taking their credit, debit card or cash payments
- maintaining clear and accurate records of guest room bookings
- answering questions about hotel facilities and about local transport, places of interest and entertainment
- listening and responding to guest queries and requests both in-person and by phone
- liaising with necessary staff including housekeeping and maintenance to address any problems or complaints made by guests

To succeed in the role of Reception team member, you will need the following qualities and skills.
- have excellent personal presentation, listening skills, verbal and written communication
- have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service with a ‘can do’ attitude
- a strong team player with the ability to multi-task & prioritise work commitments
- ability to maintain a positive, friendly attitude even under high pressure
- professional/confident telephone manner
- good sense of humour and an approachable personality
